    Eastern Christian Formation
The Eastern Christian Formation classes at St. John's begin in the lower grades with an introduction to the Eastern Church, its Saints, Mysteries, liturgy, traditions and iconography. As are students grow so does our program, exploring the history of the Byzantine Church, learning from the teachings in the Bible, Catholic morality, choral singing and liturgical participation. Finally are senior classes expands into how the involvement of the Byzantine Church and its teachings are relevant to today's teenagers.
